Seasons đź’›

Hello Everyone , welcome back to this week’s blog . It’s been a while since my last blog post. I’m back to share a new blog with you .

I’ve just returned from holidays with my husband and son and being away for that period of time has made me so reflective. There are different seasons that we go through in life and it is so important to discern the season you’re in and ask God for wisdom in that season. Seasons come and go, they are not meant to last forever but to teach us a lesson for life.

The book of Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “ For everything there is a season, a time for ever activity under heaven”. This is a very well known verse because the very essence of our existence comes in times and seasons. There was a time when you were born and there will be a time when you will die. I don’t mean to scare you but that is the truth of life. We really don’t have much time. Being away made me ponder on past seasons up until the point to where I am now. I wouldn’t be here had I not gone through seasons of heartbreak, pain, grief, healing, becoming, preparation and transition. We are so quick to want to get to the good parts in life not knowing the best parts are always in the in betweens. There you find renewed faith, strength and hope for tomorrow.

Seasons are not meant to break you, they are meant to birth something new in you. They are meant to shift you from where you are to where you are called to be. They are meant to teach you that God has made everything beautiful for his own time and although you may not be there you will eventually get there. If you don’t take the time to understand why God has you in a particular season you may miss the wisdom that was meant to be bestowed on you for the next. I’ve come to learn that there is no rushing the next best thing for you; it will be yours at the right time. Sometimes we don’t even know it but God is doing big favours for us without us realising it. At times I catch myself saying “Wow thank you God for holding that back for me” or even “ Thank you God for the Not Yet”. It’s a blessing to not be in a situation you are not prepared for yet.

If you are in a season right now and you don’t fully understand, take the time to ask and seek God. Ask him what are you trying to teach me this season? What lesson am I meant to understand.  Be intentional about it and approach him with care  because he is an intentional God . He wouldn’t have you there for any reason. When you do find out ask for the wisdom to be carried through that season. It may not be easy but his Grace is always sufficient.

I pray that you alway find peace love and comfort đź«‚

With love
